季刊真夜中 No.6 2009 Early Autumn 特集:誰も知らない恋

今回の特集は｢誰も知らない恋｣。
特に良かったのは、ビジュアル　恋の名作劇場として、山本直樹の絵とボリス・ヴィアン『うたかたの日々』、夏目漱石『それから』などをコラージュしたもの。
ボリス・ヴィアンの小説は山本直樹の絵によく合うような気がする。

それ以外でよかったのは、よしもとばななの恋の苦しみというブックガイド。
取り上げられたのは、森博嗣。彼女と森博嗣が仲がいいのは知っていたが、ここまでの絶賛とは。森博嗣のファンとしてはうれしいところだけど。

高山なおみの新連載もいい。彼女の文章ってどこか暗さというか翳がある。料理のエッセイとはまた違った雰囲気だ。

はこにわ虫

近藤さんの絵はモノクロが良く似合います。漫画を読んでモノクロ感を意識することってあまりないような…。いつも自分のすぐ側にあるのに気付かないで通り過ぎてしまいそうな空想の糸口を巧みに捉えたお話。毎日の生活の中で考えてしまうよからぬ妄想や、見間違いのような空想が、自分の中で反芻して楽しんでいるうちに、ついに現実にくい込んでくる…、そんな殊玉のストーリー。しかもその絵のうまさは、ヒトコマ、ヒトコマやられます。指先まで綺麗に描かれた手はまるで仏像みたい。大好きです。

Ladybirds' Requiem digest version

"Ladybirds' Requiem" is an animation work I created from 2005 to 2006. To create it, one second required 15 sheets of drawings, and as a whole, it consisted of approximately 3000 drawings. It is just a 5minute-and-38second work, but it took me about a year to complete it. In spite of a great deal of time and many drawings, it is possible to reproduce animation works unlike paintings. "Ladybirds' Requiem" is also made in limited numbers and sold as an artwork. "Only one existence" makes it possible to keep the value of artwork. However, to produce a work that is amenable to mass production decreases a chance to show it to many people. This time I enter a digest version of "Ladybirds' Requiem" on Youtube. I edited it in 2010 and uploaded it on Youtube to show it to more people.
